Do you need more answers?
Your customised treatment plan will be designed by our orthodontist and it will include a number of sets of aligners. When worn for the recommended duration, each set will make slight movements to your teeth position. Once the movement is done, the next set needs to be worn and so on.
The duration of the treatment is based on how much movement is needed for your particular case. That being said, we try to accept cases the range between 3 months to 10 months.
Our aligners are made of BPA free biocompatible material that is cell-biologically tested according to international guidelines ISO 10993 and EN ISO 7405.
Aligners typically need to be worn between 20 to 22 hours a day with a change of the set in 2 weeks.
As the teeth begin to experience the force needed to move them there can be a little bit of discomfort that lasts a few days but since there are no brackets and wires the pain that is usually associated with braces is not felt.
This is largely dependent on the complexity of the case. The mildest of cases may not need to visit at all till completion whereas a complex case may need a visit once in 2 to 3 months.
Chewing of food can deform the aligner thereby reducing its efficiency, so it must be avoided. Beverages can be taken but it is recommended that the aligners are removed and washed immediately after.
